Majolica ceramic was a chance discovery by the Arabs in the 11th century when they tried to imitate Chinese ceramics. They are made of glazed earthenware and decorated with a glaze composed of cobalt oxide (greenish blue) and copper or manganese (brown). It spread throughout Spain and the island of Mallorca became the largest exporter of this Hispano-Moorish pottery during the Middle Ages. At Zentangle we embrace chance discoveries as a creative gift to our artistic and above all personal development. The workshop is taught online through Zoom application.

El taller me encantó. Este tipo de diseños me gusta mucho y fue lo que me impulsó a hacer el taller, pero al terminarlo, además de haber disfrutando creando el diseño, descubrí que crear la textura y jugar con la luz dentro de la tesela me gustó mucho.
Fue un taller intenso y muy interesante.
Los trabajos creados fueron realmente preciosos.
